JOB DESCRIPTION FOR GRANT MANAGER
Project: Enhancement of Participatory Democracy in Turkey: Monitoring Gender Equality Phase II - Gender Equality Monitoring Through Right-Based CSOs Implementation
Coordinate and manage the Grants Component,
Manage and prepare the call for proposals and assist the evaluations of the grants program,
Ensure the dissemination of the Call for Proposal and encourage the appropriate potential applicants to apply for the grant support,
Prepare grant contracts for awardees,
Develop materials, manuals, relevant templates related to evaluation of applications and implementation of grants,
Train and guide the project assistants and other relevant staff to manage, implement and monitor grants,
Train and guide successful applicants for proper implementation of micro-grant projects,
Establish a system for monitoring of the grants and maintenance of adequate records for all expenditures incurred and monitor compliance to the project budget,
Support beneficiaries during implementation: procurement procedures and proper record keeping,
Ensure timely, effective and qualified implementation of the awarded grants to be in line with relevant EU procedures and the provisions foreseen in CEID Grant contract,
Preparing all reports and other deliverables of Grants Program,
Preparation and presentation of grant programme status reports to the Project Director and Project Steering Committee,
Supervise the preparation and submission of financial and narrative reports – ensure successful closing of the Grant Projects,
Writing a comprehensive report including the difficulties, opportunities, threats and suggestions regarding the use of grants after the closing of the Grant Contracts.

Good teamwork skills.
The Profile:
Bachelors or higher degree,
Full computer literacy,
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Turkish,
Have professional experience in civil area, EU projects at least 5 years,
Have worked at least in two grant projects, preferably as a manager,
Have worked at least in one gender-based project,
The candidate should have a clear understanding of EU Project Cycle Management.
